WordTheatre UK took part in The Latitude Festival at Henham Park, in Southwold, Suffolk, England with 3 1/2 hours of programming!

WordTheatre's schedule featured an hour with Ron Carlson, one of WordTheatre's favorite American author and stories from The National Short Story Prize of the UK

Saturday, July 14th

12 – 1pm:
Ian Hart (Harry Potter, Finding Neverland) read "Drawer" by Rick Moody
Lucy Brown (Primeval, Sharpe) read "21st Century Juliet" by Rose Tremain
Julian Gough, The National Short Story Prize winning author of 2007, read "The Orphan and the Mob" by Julian Gough

4 – 5pm:
Ron Carlson read an excerpt from his brilliantly reviewed new novel, Five Skies (Viking, June 2007).
Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls, and now playing the lead in the filmed version of Mamma Mia, shooting in England with Meryl Streep) read "Keith" by Ron Carlson
James Franco (Spiderman 1, 2 and 3) read "Single Woman for Long Walks on the Beach) by Ron Carlson

Sunday, July 15th

1 – 2pm:
Dallas Campbell (Attila) read "Tomorrow's Bird" by Ian Frazier
Kerry Fox (Cold Blood) read "Self-Knowledge" by Richard Bausch
