The best way to come to Edale is by train:  a two carriage train links the rural communities with the northern cities of Manchester and Sheffield.  Trains run regularly between London and Manchester and London and Sheffield – both cities are just over two hours train journey from London. Allow 30 minutes from Manchester or Sheffield to Edale.

If you are driving allow 3.5 hours from central London, an hour from Manchester or 30 mins from Sheffield.

For those arriving by air, Manchester, East Midlands and Robin Hood Airports are all near. These might be easier options for those traveling from abroad than coming in via London.
