On Sunday March 8th, Thomas Mann, breakout star of 2015’s Sundance Film Festival for his magnificent role as Greg Gaines in Me & Earl & the Dying Girl, will be one of the featured actors at WordTheatre’s Brunch with Twin Authors Richard & Robert Bausch at the Microsoft Lounge in Venice. Mann will be among a team of gifted performers that include Robert Pine (CHiPs, Independence Day), Darren Criss (Glee, Transformers: Robots in Disguise) and Mariette Hartley (Emmy Award Winner for The Incredible Hulk, Law and Order: SVU).
Mann who was named one of Vulture Magazine’s “6 Stars of Sundance” for his performance in Me & Earl & the Dying Girl recently told Interview Magazine, “It’s the greatest role that has ever come across my lap. I read it a year and a half before I even auditioned. I knew that I wanted to do it when I read it. It sounded like me. Sometimes you just read something and it makes sense and it clicks instantly and you feel connected to it and you have an emotional response to it immediately. That’s how I was when I read Me & Earl & the Dying Girl.”
Fans of Thomas Mann will definitely want to buy a ticket for WordTheatre’s upcoming brunch event. Not only will you witness some of the best stories from two of the greatest modern American writers, you will also see a cast of versatile actors bringing the words of Richard and Robert Bausch to life at the Microsoft Lounge in Venice on Sunday, March 8th.
