Guests met America’s finest short story writers, while great actors brought their short stories to life. Each evening, authors performed the latest works of renowned authors, followed by a reading from the author, and a Q& A period with the artists. This series was presented in association with the Chapman University Department of English.

About the Author: Jill McCorkle
Jill McCorkle (writer) – Author of five novels and four short story collections, five of which have been named New York Times notable books, McCorkle’s stories have been collected in the Norton Anthology of Short Fiction and New Stories from the South. Her writing has also appeared in The Atlantic, Ploughshares, The New York Times Book Review and Allure. She chaired Harvard University’s Creative Writing program for five years and currently teaches at North Carolina State University.
